Now that Masturbation Invasion is well and truly up and running and we're getting closer to world domination, we thought we'd have a proper go at actually doing one of these things. Because people like blogs.
What's going on in the world of porn right now? Well, lots of people have been getting rather excited about Blu Ray technology and others haven't. Some people suggested Scarlett Johansson was going to play Jenna Jameson in a film and it turns out she isn't. And we're currently in the middle of the 'summer slowdown' in the porn industry.
The 'summer slowdown' is a phenomenon where porn sites and porn companies experience a severe slump in sales as people are, presumably, out sunning themselves or playing football instead of wanting to be indoors out of the rain drooling over pictures of porn stars.
Of course, the 'summer slowdown' only works in the northern hemisphere at this time of year. Plus, bearing in mind the fact that this has been the wettest summer on record in the UK, I would suspect it's not been much of a slowdown on these isles.
Anyway, if you were wondering why there haven't been very many decent sites released in the last couple of months, there's your reason right there. Porn companies don't want to release their stuff when nobody is likely to see it. With the exception of Fuck You Paul, I wouldn't expect to see much new good stuff until about September.
