Hmm, somebody somewhere is trying to take the 'adult' out of 'adult entertainment'.
First of all, Diesel made that porn ad that was supposedly safe for work and which was, by the way, a work of genius in my opinion.
And now we have PG Porn! And in a particularly impressive move, they've managed to blend together quality actors like Nathan Fillion with quality adult stars like Aria Giovanni, Sasha Grey and Belladonna.
Of course, the likelihood of me enjoying this is greatly increased by the fact that they just happen to be three of my very favourite porn stars, but having seen the first episode with Giovanni and Fillion, it was very funny and I really enjoyed it. There's definitely scope for expansion here and I hope it does eventually become a very popular series.
Inevitably though, not everyone's impressed. There's always some cretin all willing to poor cold water on the whole thing - in this case said cretin happens to be Bob Peters, president of Morality In Media, a bit like the American version of Mediawatch UK. He said, and I quote,
"In the real world of pornography, if you want to get your start in pornography then you start in the gutter. Real people are abused in the production of pornography."
All of which is all sooooooo interesting but absolutely nothing to do with what this programme is about at all. Plus, what was with those pair of sentences? Was he on a retainer for the amount of times he could say 'pornography' in a very short interview? What a very strange man indeed.
Nonetheless, I'll look forward to future episodes greatly.
