So, what was supposed to be our British Week, but ended up being our British Fortnight, is now nearly at an end, it's probably a good point to have a look at other British sites that aren't paysites but are of interest anyway.
- British Girls Adult Film Database - this a tremendous resource that I found particularly useful when putting together my Top 10 Current British (Female) Performers article. It's an amazingly complete collection of lists and articles that fans of British porn really should have a great time looking through. It's almost certainly the most complete database of British stars around. Wikipedia take note.
- Page 3.com - not only a splendid collection of our best ever Page 3 girls, but also pretty good at catching some of our best adult stars before (or after) they become ruder!
- The Melon Farmers - I always think this site is the best way to tell you just how complete an adult film you're watching on British satellite TV is, as they often show the versions butchered by the BBFC. But there's a lot more to this site than that - it keeps you fully abreast of all the developments in censorship, and they are one of the sites at the forefront of the campaign against this anti-'violent' porn legislation that is doing the rounds in parliament.
- Self-Lover's World - this was where we started our journey as porn reviewers. Although it's been pretty much deserted for months now except for the spam-bots that clog up the forum, it's still a great archive of adult site reviews, and not just because we wrote on it! It's one of the VERY few review sites around that really told you if a site was shit and, as far as we're aware, the only other UK-based review site too.
- The Sexual Freedom Coalition - this one doesn't just cover sexual matters but covers subjects such as public nudity and the suchlike, and is a quite splendid resource as well as doing a marvellous job in speaking for all of us who like the idea of sexual and sexuality freedom.
