Like the guy says, damn porn sites and their double speak!
But still, if you deal with porn on a day-to-day basis like we do, then you get pretty much used to it. 'Double speak' is one way of putting it. 'Lying' would perhaps be a less kind way of describing it.
That might sound harsh but it's definitely not for some. Porn sites are the very masters of double speak though, there's no doubt about that. How many times have you seen or subscribed to a site that promises 'hundreds of thousands of images!' only to discover that most of those images are from bonus sites or feeds that have nothing to do with the site you've subscribed to?
Technically speaking, they're not being untruthful with that statement, just very tricky with their words. However, some sites are patently exploiting the general mood amongst the porn-consuming public. You and I are immune to such grand claims these days and you prefer to make your own judgements about these figures, ignoring for the most part.
This has given carte blanche to sites to just patently lie. They can wheel off these claims knowing full well that nobody reads them anyway or knowing that they can get away on a technicality with these claim with photos that are buried away under some obscure link.
But then, that's why we're here, isn't it? To make sure you're not suckered into those deals. It doesn't stop us from being annoyed by them though!
