If you wanted a reason why Channel 4 are increasingly becoming a station that is reluctant to maintain the levels of pioneering spirit that it showed in its formative years, then you have got it right here. They're scared. And they never used to be scared.
Using the Big Brother ruckus as a reason to pull a season about masturbation is completely ludicrous, the two have absolutely no connection whatsoever. It seems that Channel 4 are just looking for any excuse to make friends with everyone that complained about Big Brother, and will presumably sneak out what could be an interesting season of shows under the radar when they think people are not paying attention. And let's face it, considering how crap Channel 4 is these days, they could probably send it out at any time as a result.
